Job Title: Director – Enterprise Technology Office (AI Center of Excellence)
Location: Hybrid (Must be willing to travel to Erie, PA)

About the Role:
Kaeppel Consulting is partnering with a prominent client to identify a seasoned technology leader to serve as a  Director in their Enterprise Technology Office , specifically within the  AI Center of Excellence (CoE) . This position is instrumental in leading enterprise-level architecture initiatives and driving strategic innovation through cloud modernization, AI/ML integration, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise architecture and strategy initiatives aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to C-Suite executives, translating complex technology needs into actionable roadmaps.
• Champion AI/ML/LLM adoption and oversee integration across critical systems and products.
• Develop and implement 3–5 year strategic technology roadmaps focused on cloud-native solutions, modernization, and scalable platforms.
• Mentor and manage architecture teams, ensuring alignment with Agile Release Trains and Program Increment planning.
• Guide technology decisions across platforms such as AWS, Azure, Guidewire, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
• Drive cloud transformation, microservices adoption, and serverless architecture implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish architectural governance and foster innovation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Director, Chief Architect, or Consulting CTO in large enterprise environments.
• Extensive background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and digital transformation.
• Strong leadership experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and Lean-Agile transformations.
• Expertise in implementing AI/ML/LLM solutions and aligning them with enterprise goals.
• Experience presenting and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-Suite executives.
• Technical proficiency in Guidewire, Salesforce, Snowflake, .NET, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and modern DevOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, and AWS Machine Learning – Specialty are a plus.

Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule with occasional on-site work in  Erie, PA . Must be able and willing to travel as needed.
