EHS Manager – Manufacturing Location: Finger Lakes Region, NY  Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 + Bonuses Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates A leading manufacturing company in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at the facility. This role is critical for maintaining compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and reducing environmental impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all site EHS programs, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety and environmental practices. Act as the site’s EHS subject matter expert, guiding leadership on safety and environmental initiatives. Coach and mentor operations leaders to meet safety program requirements. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Serve as the main contact for government and agency inspections. Conduct EHS audits, investigations, and corrective action plans. Oversee hazard/risk assessments and observation programs. Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs. Stay current on applicable EHS laws, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: ~ Bachelor’s degree required. ~5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or a related industry. ~ Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, hazardous materials management, and wastewater compliance. ~ Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
