What You Will Be Doing
Reverse-engineer our flagship's success into a systematic playbook—from curriculum frameworks and staffing models to technology infrastructure and launch sequences—all validated by concrete performance metrics.
Architect quality standards and cultural touchpoints that ensure consistency across locations while allowing each campus to develop its authentic character.
Execute strategic market tests with measurable KPIs for enrollment, retention, and learning outcomes, then refine the model for nationwide implementation.
Craft and deliver a compelling market narrative through demonstrations, community engagements, media appearances, and investor presentations that convert interest into commitments.
Harness artificial intelligence to streamline marketing, assessment, and data analysis processes that accelerate growth without compromising the educational experience.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Building isolated, one-off educational experiments—your focus is creating systems that scale.
Managing day-to-day academic operations or making incremental curriculum adjustments.
Perpetuating conventional educational structures or classroom environments.
Advancing an educational philosophy you don't genuinely champion—authentic belief in our approach is non-negotiable.
Pursuing limited regional success without ambitions for national expansion.
Founder In Residence Key Responsibilities
Design, test, and expand a multi-location educational model that consistently delivers exceptional learning outcomes, rapidly fills enrollment capacity, and generates overwhelming parent enthusiasm across diverse markets nationwide.
Basic Requirements
Entrepreneurial track record as a founder or early-stage leader who personally managed at least $1M in annual revenue, with meaningful connection to the specialized student population we serve.
Proven ability to transform innovative concepts into thriving businesses, including successful public advocacy that generates substantial market demand.
Comprehensive knowledge of non-traditional educational approaches including competitive gaming, achievement-based learning systems, and digital education platforms.
Compelling communicator who excels in public speaking, video presentations, and comprehensive written content.
Advanced proficiency with generative AI tools for analytical, creative, and operational applications.
Metrics-oriented strategist who excels at building frameworks, evaluating performance indicators, and implementing rapid improvements.
US-based with capability to make regular visits to Austin headquarters (approximately one week per month).
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
