JOB SUMMARY
The IPS Trainer is primarily responsible for providing site-based and technology-based training, consultation, and fidelity reviews for programs implementing the evidence-based practice of Individual Placement and Support (IPS). IPS Trainers are responsible for training and supporting vocational teams, mental health practitioners, agency leadership of contracted providers, Vocational Rehabilitation staff, and other community partners across the state of Tennessee.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Will work remotely from a dedicated workspace per Park Center’s Work from Home policy
- Able to operate with many distractions and in different settings
- Use of personal vehicle for business travel
- Must be able to travel across the state of Tennessee, and occasionally out of state, to include overnight stays, up to 80% of the time

SCHEDULE
The work schedule for this salaried position is Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times and is based on a 37.5-hour workweek. However, this position may require some flexibility for after-hours and weekends with advance notice provided.

Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides on-site and virtual training and technical assistance for the IPS model to supported employment staff, mental health practitioners, agency leadership, Vocational Rehabilitation staff, and others
- Organizes and conducts fidelity reviews of the evidence-based IPS model, appropriately shares findings from the reviews in professional written reports, and assists agencies with developing action plans for improving the implementation of the model
- Assesses current practices, organizational structure, and philosophies of agencies that are utilizing the IPS model to better support implementation and growth of the IPS model within the agency
- Collaborates and communicates professionally with various stakeholders across the state of Tennessee to champion the IPS model
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in human services, vocational rehabilitation, public administration, business, social work, sociology, organizational development, or a closely related field
- Experience working within a public or private human services or workforce development organization
- Experience as a trainer, consultant, and/or fidelity reviewer for the IPS model or similar evidence-based practice
- Experience providing training and technical assistance/consultation
- Experience performing fidelity reviews of behavioral health evidence-based practices
- Experience writing professional summary reports in a timely manner
- Knowledge of terms and best practices in both mental health and substance treatment and vocational rehabilitation
- Knowledge of the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment
- Initiative: be a self-starter, learn and adapt quickly, manage a personal schedule with limited oversight
- Professionalism: present self in a professional manner with personal presentation and communication skills, ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate feedback into practice

- Technology proficient: Microsoft, Google, REDCap experience preferred
- Must have a valid Tennessee Driver’s License
- Must be able to show proof of personal automobile insurance
- Must be insurable under Park Center’s automobile insurance
- Geographic residence requirement – resides in or near West TN/Jackson or surrounding area
