Hourly Pay: $40.00 – $58.00 (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager – NICU RN to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) during the night shift . This is a full-time leadership role working 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM , with weekend and on-call rotation required.
As Nurse Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in clinical operations, team support, and quality initiatives for one of Houston’s leading NICUs. This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse leader who thrives in high-acuity neonatal environments and wants to make a lasting impact on critically ill newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the NICU Director to manage daily operations and lead unit initiatives
Supervise and mentor NICU staff, fostering accountability and clinical excellence
Support performance improvement (PI) efforts and safety goals
Deliver hands-on clinical support and evaluate patient care outcomes
Oversee care planning, discharge coordination, and family-centered care practices
Ensure ongoing compliance with hospital, regulatory, and safety standards
BSN required
Active RN license in Texas or Compact RN license with Texas endorsement (within 60 days of hire)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
2+ years of recent NICU leadership experience (at charge nurse, supervisor, or manager level)
Strong understanding of neonatal nursing standards, compliance protocols, and quality metrics
