Supply Chain Scheduler

Location: Northridge, CA 91324 (On-Site)

Duration: 12-month Assignment

PAY: $40-$45/hour

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Scheduler to join our team in Northridge. This role is responsible for developing and managing production schedules using best practices based on APICS principles (Association for Supply Chain Management). You will be experienced in leveraging key strategies such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP) , Just-in-Time (JIT) , Lean Manufacturing , and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive supply chain excellence. This position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across multiple departments, and a solid background in supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage MRP-based production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and inventory goals.
• Implement JIT, Lean Manufacturing, and S&OP strategies to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, logistics, and sales to synchronize schedules with material availability and customer demand.
• Monitor and communicate schedule changes or constraints to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Analyze production data to identify risks, resolve scheduling conflicts, and improve supply chain responsiveness.
• Apply TOC and continuous improvement principles to resolve bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
• Track KPIs such as schedule adherence, cycle times, and inventory turnover to drive performance.
• Support ERP/MRP system enhancements to improve scheduling accuracy and visibility.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Business Administration , Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
• APICS certification preferred: CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of MRP , JIT , Lean , TOC , and S&OP frameworks.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP platforms (e.g., SAP , Oracle , Microsoft Dynamics ).
