Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative support to students requiring social work assistance.
Work cooperatively with school personnel in the identification, diagnosis, and remediation of individual students with specialized needs.
Advocate for social-emotional functioning support within the school environment.

Qualifications:

Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator License, School Social Worker (PK-12).
Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, parents, and SRT, along with a willingness to ensure effective communication.
Satisfactory special education social worker experience.
Thorough knowledge of behavior management and group counseling techniques.
Ability to provide social skills training to students.
Demonstrated experience in providing parent education.
Willingness to accept additional duties as assigned in accordance with Board policies and requirements.
