Job Description

Our client, a high-growth company that specializes in licensed and branded merchandise, is looking to hire a Visual Content Merchandiser who will own how products show up across Amazon listings, bookstore catalogs, trade show booths, and partner presentations. This role is all about performance—how the right imagery, layout, and merchandising choices drive measurable sales increases, both online and in-person. You’ll work closely with design, product development, and operations to ensure every visual touchpoint is strategic, polished, and results oriented.

This role does have a leadership capacity and will manage 1-2 designers (including remote team members overseas) with potential to grow the team locally.

Visual Content Merchandiser Responsibilities:
  • Amazon Merchandising: Lead product imagery, A+ content, storefronts, and landing pages.
  • Trade Show Strategy: Plan booth layouts, signage, product displays, and oversee on-site setup.
  • Retail & Catalog: Collaborate with teams on assortments and visual presentation for catalogs and sales sheets.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Measure impact of visuals on sales and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Creative Direction: Guide designers on style, layouts, and brand consistency across channels.
  • Social Media Assets: Provide occasional visuals for newsletters, LinkedIn, and product launches.
Visual Content Merchandiser Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years in visual merchandising, product presentation, or e-commerce content management
  • Proven ability to direct visual strategy that drives measurable sales results
  • Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of how to adapt visuals for different audiences and channels
  • Detail-oriented, feedback-friendly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
